springfield xd-9 mags

does anyone know of a good suplier of xd-9 mags preferibly pinned ones as the standard 10 rounders are quite hard to fit that last round in them
did they just put in a longer spring to reduce the capacity

btw this is my first auto handgun and i absolutely love it

The Xd mags will get easier to load over time. The more you load and unload them the easier it gets. There are no spacers in the mags, they are only 10 round mags.

You can get extra mags from Williams Arms or Ellwood epps. I have owned XD 9 for more than 3 years and it helped me going through all the IPSC, PPC and IDPA training. Nice gun to shoot. Actually the mag is one of those which is the easiest to load, especially compare to Glock. You can also store the mag fully loaded. It helps loosen the spring a bit.

Keeping a mag loaded does not loosen the springs tension. Loading and unloading it does. If you keep a mag loaded for a year it will have the same tension as it did when you loaded it.
