SPS Stock for REM 700 BDL ?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the SPS stocks would fit an older Rem 700 BDL action/ barrel. I currently have a M700 in 22-250 approx 15 years old and wondered if the SPS synthetic stock would work as a replacement for the current wood stock. I am assuming that a short action SPS stock would work with little or no modifications required. If anyone could verify this one way or another it would be greatly appreciated.

sps stocks should be a dirrect drop in for 700's. make sure you don't get one set up for the detachable mag.

Yes it will fit, but the plastic crap SPS stocks are made of are not nearly as stable a stock as your present wood stock is.
If your wood stock is in any kind of decent shape I would be willing to trade you 5 SPS stocks for it.
