SPS Tactical barrel diameter .223 vs.308?

Are they both the same? (in which case .223 would have thicker walls)

Or does the .308 model have a bigger barrel diameter?

I believe the HB contour is externally the same regardless of caliber. - dan

The dia. of the .223 should be approx. .223" and similarly the .308 should be about .308" give or take a bit.

According to my calipher, you are correct.

They both have the "Remington Varmint" contour and it has identical outside dimensions.
