I just bought one to build a Remington M40 sniper clone.
It is as accurate as my Tikka Tac. but the action isn't as smooth as the Tikka & the Rem stock sucks.
I'm looking at getting a COUPLE of these affordable little thangs myself, for various builds. Problem I have, is the X-Mark trigger. I just bought my wife an SPS, in 270 with the hunting barrel, and it has the X-Mark trigger. I was very disappointed with the trigger, because it is way too stiff!
However, I have a problem with taking guns to gunsmiths to get the triggers adjusted.
SO, does anyone know where to look up instructions on adjusting the X-Mark trigger? I had a quick look, but would rather be sure before I start messing around with all the tiny screws. For the project guns, I'll most likely be replacing the triggers anyways, but for my wife's deer rifle, I'd rather just adjust.
Thanks all!

I presently have a "borrowed" sps varmint in .204 in my basement.Owner was complaining about accuracy.Checked screws, scope, trigger.
Action screws were a bit loose, scope is banner and not good, trigger 4.5lbs.
Put three shots into less than Quarter inch with factory loads.Gonna see what I can do to tighten this thing up.
I have a SPS varmint in 308 and so far am very happy with it. I bought it with plans to swap out the stock anyways but for the price it is a great gun!
