Apologies, can't seem to cut and paste the article. Pretty cool pic of the big cat.
 
I have had a couple feral Toms show up in my barn and outside the house, almost this guy's size, effn massive heads on them. Nothing in my hands to deal with them.

Don't know much about bobcats, if they prey on porcupines and rabbits and leave calves alone, they might get a pass where yotes wouldn't.
 
Back around 1985 I was grouse hunting with some friends near Grafton and we saw one on the edge of a clearing about 100 yards away.
Haven't seen another one since.

Ive have only seen one bobcat in person. It was staggering around on a paved road at like 330 afternoon.

Lynx are a different story though. Had one living in my larents yard for a while. It was there daily for a whole sumer. Loads of pics and videos of it. They are big cats
 
There must be a few of them in the general area, I seen one once while hunting just north of Kaladar a few years ago. Spectacular to see in the wild.
 
there's a bobcat (or many) on the west side of Burnaby Lake in ... Burnaby, BC :)
not shy but not friendly either
have seen it (or them) twice last summer
one time it was laying under a parked vehicle and I could see it's paws: definitely not a canadian lynx
 
I’ve had cat tracks just south of Kaladar the last 2 winters. Of course I took the trail cams down as I had a few batteries die out ten explode. But the snow is a great medium to what is around. I’d say there is a healthy breeding population throughout eastern Ontario.
