Here's what happened;

One of you great Squamish, BC dudes just asked and offered to host an M14 clinic this July. I cannot remember their CGN handle and lost all correspondence. :(

If this is you from Squamish GC who offered then, I might just take you up on that offer to do a ONE day M14 clinic up at your Gun Club.

PM me and let's get something going for around the 23 - 28 July stretch....

Thanks,
Barney

I would be all over a Squamish GC clinic like a fat kid on a smartie.

They have a small clubhouse that might suit our needs as well, Happy to approach them on that. Just no access to tools there.

Not sure who you were talking to Barney but if you need a member at the club to help coordinate I will be there.

I'd be in and willing to drive up from Vancouver.
There's another clinic happening before that in Surrey but my schedule conflicts.
Thanks Barney

Dearest Master Corporal,

Would you be down for a M14 or non-14 (AR/XCR/CZ/VZ) CQB clinic while you're here? I'll see if I can't rustle up some fellows who insist on opening the bolt for your entertainment.

Stay tuned... I'm still firming up a 2 day CQB (yes, it's restricted; carbine and pistol) clinic for the Pemberton venue. I gotta firm up the dates and my pointman.

You see, I was scheduled to do the Dundurn 16-19 July Clinic, then I motor westward to Wainwright for Sat 20 July, then my wife wants me to swing DOWN South to Whistler and visit with my 2 boys who will BOTH be on the West Coast (this is a first). So with this readjustment of direction, I have a chance to come through and help out the Wet Coast CQB and M14 addicts! :D

We are a month away, and that's cutting things closely.

Cheers,
Barney

Sweet. Will you be offended by 858s or Glocks? My M305 isn't really right for CQB anymore, unless by close, one means 300 to 600 meters...

Nope, bring the non-restricted rifles and all pistols are welcome, just a little slower on the re-load for the wheel guns... but it's been done before! :D

AND YES, there have been many M14 rifles at the CQB matches held here in Ontario by the ORA on Langemark Range , Base Borden. :D

Cheers,
Barney

I'm in Peace River, AB Gun Club for a 2 day M14 clinic 13 & 14 July! IF it only saves one #### from falling off!

Cheers,
Barney

Awesome, I will check my calendar and see if I can make it. Any chance I could get some direction on bedding my new USGI fiberglass stock? I have never attempted any bedding work before.
