I have encountered problem with my SD press. I was reloading today and something got stuck on station one or two and instead inspecting I yanked and that little blue wing nut from rod holding to the powder measure went flying. I attached everything and all works, except the powder, it doesn't drop the powder to the case.
Any ideas how to solve this problem or I have to call Dillon?

Thanks

The famous blue nut from the failsafe rod, a classic. You can call Dillon for a replacement, I'm pretty sure they'll send you one for free. I always keep a spare or two of this part. The purpose of this system is to ensure that the plate is fully down and that it has indexed properly before 'resetting' the powder measure, in order to avoid double charges. You could pull the rod down manually after each stroke to make it work.

When you'll get the replacement, try putting just a tad less pressure on the nut, it'll live longer. You could take the failsafe rod to Home depot and try to find a replacement nut, even a regular hex nut will be ok, just not as convenient to adjust.

PoFF,
thanks for your help, but problem is more complex. The top piece located on the block is not indexing, means no moving. I have just called Dillon, and they advice me to send it over for waranty repair.
So Monday I will shipp over to Dillon.
