Does anybody know anything about this gun. It's a Squibman Model 20A semi .22LR. I'm just curious, if anyone knows anything about it. I've never heard of them before.

I've borrowed it from my old man to take a few shots. He doesn't know much about guns.

It seems to shoot OK, and I would like to try it on a few bunnies as well.

They're a Phillipines-made firearm (now bought out by Armscor, but still sold under the Squibman name); most of the ones in Canada were originally imported by Ruko. The 20 series were all pretty well identical, only with differences in the stock (for that matter, they're identical mechanically to the M1600/M16R, which are the same rifle "dressed up" to look M16ish).

Thanks for the info guys. Just the kind of stuff I'm looking for.

I guess it's not that well known or popular of an item. Could be for good reason. I don't know much about guns or the quality of this gun, but it works for me and makes for some fun shooting. :)

I had a 20D.....it was pretty much garbage by any standards. Charles Daly sells them under thier name and they still look like the same design from the 60's.....

I have 2 of the M16 type version, Kind of.
Years ago I worked at a gun store that had a gunsmith working in the back. He had a Squires Bingham model 2000 barreled action for 10 bucks.
I bought it, put the trigger group off of my original on it and it worked flawlessly. The other one is one of the retractable stock jobs.
The M16R doesn't feed worth a sh*t, but I still joke that the M2000 is the only Squires out there that feeds and is accurate.
They both take a backseat to my 10/22 now but still take them out just for fun now and then.
