Excellent review with very useful information on this series of rifles. Nothing new for me, but this video does a fantastic job at articulating professionally the benefits of KAC SR line. This should help people to understand or grasp what all the hype is about when certiain other channels have tried to shun this rifle and company with shady and deceptive conclusions.

Great video.

Once one looks at all the features that goes into KAC rifles it's easy to see why the price point is there and why they are so good.

Yeah its always over looked. People like Chis Bartocci are always slamming KAC, but that’s because he has burnt bridges with that company.
 
I compared tolerances on KAC receivers and other manufacturers such as DD, LMT, Colt etc.. KAC's are leaps ahead.

If you have OCD and love your standard AR15 never do this to yourself:
Run your fingers on the side of your ar15 where the receivers mate. On a KAC both sides should feel exactly equal. On any other AR15s, it'll always be uneven between gun to gun. This says a lot about their QC, even where functions wouldn't be affected either way.
 
They are definitely good rifles. His reviews are enjoyable.

Nutnfancy's SR-15 review auto played and I watched his intro. He is less than thrilled with the one he tried. He apparently "isn't in the know".

As long as the rifle meets milspec dimensions then there's no gain in paying for the anal level of finishing. KAC make great guns but they're over priced and over hyped.

I disagree on KAC. They give you everything you could ever want in an out of the box AR from a DI system. Its a full package.

When you say overpriced, do you mean they should be around the DD and similar price point?

Ignoring of course that all KAC rifles include:

Ambi bolt release/catch
Ambi mag release
Built in sling cups
LMT buttstock
Includes front and rear iron sights (not plastic ones)
Includes the enhanced bolt features (granted you don't like this)
2 stage match trigger
Mag well lock

If we put a price point on just those items (not the enhanced gas block, flash hider, etc.) then is KAC still overpriced?

KAC only has ambi bolt release. For the record.
