Hello

Im looking for a bottom hand guard rail for a Magpul angled grip for my Sr-22, Iv only been able to find tops and side rails , any help would be much appreciated

The holes are in all the same places, so I would assume so.

....now, where are you finding the Magpul angled grip? Looking to do the same to mine.

IIRC, the bottom rail is slightly different... Something to do with other screws, although I can't remember which ones are there. Apparently the bottom rail has a couple extra holes in addition to the side ones. But, I've also heard that you can use a side rail, but you have to adjust the placement. I think Dlask sells the proper bottom rails too... I think they have a three-pack (with the two sides), but they might be able to sell you the bottom separate. Just send them an email and ask...

The only difference the bottom rail has is the extra hole for the sling stud / barrel block screw. Other than that the other four mounting holes are the same as the side rails for the OEM tube.

I got my AFG1 at Wanstalls

Iron Eagle Tactical are great to deal with. I also got a nice bush guard fom them as we'll. No problems with them shipping up here.

Not sure if they changes their milling process, but the only problem I've seen with their rail is the fact that the grooves are rounded and not square like picatinney. Companies like magpul do use rounded cross bolts but some use square and could cause mounting problems.

Very nice. Pretty near the exact look I'm trying to mimic for mine. Do the iron sights line up well with the red dot, or are you pretty much shooting one or the other?

Almost perfect co-witness, the dot is smaller than it looks in real life, so there is a slightly bigger gap than what shows in the picture. But, yeah, it works nice :)v

I have the AFG on my SR22 as well. I purchased a short section of the MOE polymer rail. It is the same length as the AFG, which is how I prefer it to look. One of the holes lined up, I had to drill and tap the second one.

Personally all I did when I had the Nordic chassis was just cut down a Dlask rail to length. With two mounting holes intact and it enabled you to place it in three spot depending on your preferred hand placement on your fore arm. So no need to tap a new hole for the mounting screw. A bit of aluma black and you can have the rail look factory finish.
