SR-22 handguard

I've used 2 types of Free Floating (FF) HG (Hogue and Ultimate Arms) and they both fit perfectly. Not to insult your intelligence, but only FF ones will be a screw on fit, in case you are thinking the 2-part HG like on C7/ C8 will fit.
 
I dont actually own an sr22, I was just looking into it for a friend. But yeah, im aware the 2 piece units (like the ones on the colt) wont fit. I was more or less wondering if the hand rail that comes attahced to the gun is removeable and replaceable with an aftermarket AR15 quad rail.
 
yep, just loosen the lock ring at the rear, twist off the old one and screw on the new quad rail. Note that on a quad rail, its unlikely the top rail is going be the same height as the Ruger rail on the receiver.
