Hi - I'm not a 'black rifle' guy, so I know less than squat about parts for AR-style firearms.

I recently ordered an SR-22, and I notice they come without sights. I'm just going to be using iron sights on mine, but I have no idea where to pick them up.

I'm assuming that handle-thingy on ARs houses the rear sight, and the front one attaches to the barrel??

Marstar is sold out of the handle, but I can't even find anywhere that sells the front bit.

Any suggestions?

Vest, I'm not sure if those 2 sights will work together as the SR-22 has a raised picatinny rail, it may elevate the carry handle too much. Another option is a rail-mounted front sight, designed to work on the same plane (elevation) as the carry handle mounted sight, but you would need to add a rail to your handguard for that. I believe there is a full length rail available for the SR-22 handguard that sits on the same plane as the reciever's elevated rail. Then any matched set of rail mounted battle sights would work. They also make a rail mounted A2 rear sight if you dont want to put the carry handle on it. Like this, but without the red-dot:

Oh, okay, that setup looks good....

Where'd you get your front rail? Ruger doesn't ship to Canada I gather.

lol sorry, I stole that pic off of google for reference. I'm thinking about getting an SR-22 as well and found that rail in my research. I'll look around tomorrow and see what I can dig up. Somebody in Canada has to have one.
