SR-22 Optical scope Recomendations

I have a red dot at the moment and want to switch it out for a optical scope and looking for some advise on which one to purchase.

I imagine I would be shooting from 25 to a 100. yds

Any thoughts?

I can think of 2.

Vortex Crossfire 2-7x32 VPLEX Rimfire ($139 at WSS)

Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 Rimfire BDC 150 (I think about $199)

The Nikon has a Mildot reticule made for Rimfire ammo and is probably overkill for 50-100 yds.

It's a bit overbuilt for the purpose but I absolutely love my Redfield Revolution 3-9x with Mildot reticule.

Made by Leupold with a different name on, absolutely amazing for the price, $200 area.

Company out of hong kong with awesome replicas. I use the eotech and aimpoint micro dots. They have eotech redot magnifiers and the also have acog and eclan replicas which look nice. Ive got an eotech flip out magnifier 4x on order.

I can tell you, the two replicas i bought for my m4 colt and s&w mp15 22's are rock solid. 400 rounds in each and they are still dead on. i am going to spend a day at the range and review both in jan whem the 4x magnifier comes in. pm and ill link you the video when i do.

Another cool .22 site is www.tacticool22.com great guys to deal with out of the usa. I've got a thread adapter and a fake can from them.

go with the Vortex, you will get your monies worth. the NcStar will only disappoint you in the long run.
