SR-22 Rails

Hey guys i'm wondering were i can get rails for my sr-22. it's on order and i'm trying to get all the parts together before i pick it up. i've got a nice forward grip that turns into a bipod on it's way but no way to mount it until i find a rail. can anyone help me out? also i've noticed the american version has a flash suppressor on it but the canadian ones do not. are they illegal in canada or can i put one one mine? I'll need mags too..

basically does anyone have a good source for all this stuff they'll share with me?

Check out these sites. Fabsports also has a lot of after markets as well as threaded barrels for the Ruger. No problems in shipping the barrels since they're located in Canada.

P&D has some smaller rails for the sides and bottoms... dunno about long top rails though..

I forget the name but........You can get it from a place in Quebec, just look on the Ruger site under service then click the international link. I got the full length rail shipped to Ontario for $60 total. He also said he was getting a bunch of stuff from Ruger and it was at the border. (That was 2 weeks ago when I talked to him)
The service was excellent and fast, only thing is he takes VISA only so I had to pay him by cheque. The full length rail looks awsome!

Flash suppressors are not illegal in Canada. The U.S. State Department does not allow the export of firearms equipped with flash suppressors, so we are SOL. A good gunsmith can easily fit one on your SR22.
