SR 22 scope ring height.

I was thinking of mounting a 3-9x40mm scope on my sr 22. But I'm not sure what height of rings I need or if i should go with a cantilever style mount. Any suggestions?

1.5" is standard height for AR.

The Burris P.E.P.R. Mount with a 1 inch ring worked perfect for me. I got a Sightron 3-9X40 on it now.

You will want rings designed for an AR, if you want to use run of the mill weaver type rings you will likely need something higher than the standard 'High' I.E. Extra High, Ultra High etc.

I run a 0.5" riser and Leupold medium rings on both my AR and SR-22.
