Do you have the front top rail on your handguard?

If so, you may encounter fitting problems. I used a 3-9x40 and the front windage bell/objective comes in contact with the rail. So you will need a set of high rings to raise it up. And the problem I had was running out of adjustment, so I went with a fixed 4x30 on low rings and work and fits great.

As for rings, 30mm High with a pictanney/weaver mount. I would go with the "space age :D" ones near the bottom of the page. If you don't have a front hand guard rail. get a set of low - med ones instead.

Sorry I cannot help you with your ring height question, I just have one piece of advice for you air rifle vs powder rifles have different recoil directions. Scopes for both of these rifles are two different entities, since air rifles recoil is forward. In this specific situation .22LR really does not have enough force to break an air rifle scope but on other caliber rounds it definitely can. Others will chime in on the height question.

no there is no hand rail guard.

thanks fo the advise guys.

also i herd it dosnt matter what ammo i use with this gun is that true?
