Well got my boy one of those fancy looking black Rugers yesterday, just had to take it out today and break it in.
He loves shooting with the bipod so we set it up for him. Little old 3-9 Tasco on top, let him blaze away at 25 yards. He was shooting the American Eagle 40gr solid for his shooting today. Kid can fill a 1 inch square with 10 shots, his new favorite thing to try.
I think he shot at least 200 rounds through his 10 round mags and all went well. I mounted the scope so low that I can hardly get behind it but it seems to fit him very well. FS

thats awesome, my dad really didnt take the time to get me into shooting sports... let alone picking up a sweet rig like that. +1 cool dad

I heard that the factory stock is adjustable if you remove a rivet. Can anyone with a SR-22 confirm? I want adjustable so my boys can shoot and so can I.
Thanks

The US state department refuses to ship any collapsible stock to Canada, even on rimfires (or so I was told at the Remington booth at the Sportmen's Show).
To get a collapsible stock, you'll have to do it yourself, or go through a European dealer, who are apparently allowed collapsing stocks. Go figure!!

Not only is the Canaiain version pined but the buffer tube is not machined to accept the plunger for the various positions. Also the handle is missing the spring and plunger. It can be made to collapse by a good machinist but the time, effort and expense would not be worth it so we just got new M-4 collapsible stocks. The replacement is a 2 minute job if you have the correct spanner wrench. Phil.

One is in the mail from P&D. A very nice helpful lady got it all done for me. My boys will love it, if they can get it away from me that is.

If all goes well, I will have my SR-22 by day's end. I am definitely looking for some information on how to make the non adjustable stock somewhat adjustable. I know the reasonable thing to do is to just buy another stock, but I'm looking to tinker. Anyone have any experience with this yet?

To all my boys, we are taking the day off of school tomorrow and going to the range. Spending the afternoon with the new SR and the new CZ 7.62 x 39. I have lots of ammo for all of you. FS
