I have been told the Knights Armament SR15 is one of the most balanced and smoothest shooting AR15s on the market. Will grabbing one of these uppers and putting it on ..lets say a Stag lower.. give me similar results? Im currently saving pennies for this project rifle and buying a $1700 upper compared to a $2800 dollar rifle is a huge difference 
Without knowing much about ARs in general, Im assuming the rifle will still be smooth to shoot due to the mid length gas assembly. Will the foreign upper affect the balance of the rifle?
