SR22 adjustable V-block

So I got one and now what? How much do I adjust it. What am I going for here? I have a little pressure on it now but need to know more on how they work.

On mine, I adjust the set screw until its touching the barrel, then give it another 1/4 turn and leave it be.

Never had a problem.

So do you still have the forward pressure point? I was wondering if this can be eliminated now.

One gun has a wooden stock with a point.. the other is a completely free floated channel.

Accuracy is pretty much equal between the two, and Ive never had a problem with the free floated one.

The SR-22 has a point right behind the swivel stud inside the handguard... so I dont know if the Modded V Block really helps at all?

My SR has a 12" bbl and the pressure point is easily removed. I took mine out to try.
