I just baught a sr22 and have noticed that the barrel inside the handgaurd is perfectly centered left to right but up and down not at all . The barrel is much closer to the top then bottem. I took off the handuard and reasembled it without the barrel support block and it was perfectly centered :dancingbanana: . The support block actually has to be wedged between the barrel and handguard to be put back in, and in doingso either the handguard or barrel or both is moving to allow the block to fit. Has anyone else seen this on there own? I called target sports :runaway: where i got it and they said the other one they had was like that aswell. Any inputs? Have you experienced the same?

Thanks Mike

That would really bug me to no end. I would want to exchange it, but if the other one is the same thing that doesnt help. I would want to get my money back.

If you bought it at a dealer you should have inspected it.

I took my support block out also, barrel is almost centred, off centre a little bit up and down. It is better than it was when the block was installed.

I just looked at mine and it appears to be slightly off center as well?
Very small but? You can see through the handgaurd holes the angle the barrel is on. Looks a little upward. Maybe shaving a little off the support block could be a solution? I haven't even got out to shoot mine yet. Still waiting for some optics and rails. I hope it will be OK.

My thinkings exactly, but if all of them are like that theres no point. Im thinking of trying to shave it down a little, and yes i baught it at target sports in gormely but im gunna take it in and have there gunsmith take a look at it and i will post an update. Let me no how you guns shoot with barrel block in out or shaved.

Mine was the same. I would bet most are like that. I switched out the bbl to a 12" and left the pressure point out. The bbl is centered but shoots very low on the scope adjustment. Like the very bottom. I might put it back in to see if I can 'get it up'. I did put an adjustable v-block on too so may play with that.
