Subject says it all, the SR-22 I bought last year came with the buffer tube slightly off-center. This was unnoticeable until I put a magpul CTR on it, now it irks the #### outta me.
I don't want to spend 50-100 bones for an AR tool - what are my alternatives?
Or else where's the least expensive tool I can purchase?

It's the same with mine, no matter which way I put mine on, it looks crooked and off center. I just used a punch and hammer to spin the locking ring off myself. And used the same to tighten back up again when I had one installed. But even with my UBR, it still looks off ... I just don't look at it anymore .. :D :p

AR stock wrenches are usually under $15.. So the solution is closer than you may think. ;)
