SR22 flash hider

Just bought one and got it home and noticed no flashhider or threads for such.
All photos show one . What gives? Is this to keep it from restricted?
 
In the US they have flash hiders, we do not get them in Canada.

You can however purchase an aftermarket barrel and thread a standard flash hider on to it
 
Ok did some checking, it seams we don't get the threaded barrel up here. I like the look of a compensator / flash hider plus it protects the crown. Anyone know of a canadian distributor who has a comp. that is put on with set screws.
 
Dlask now has a service where you can have them cut the threads for the flash hider. I haven't done it yet but am thinking of doing it...anyone know if you can drop it off to them (as I'm in the Lower Mainland) or do you have to send it via Canada Post?
 
Really want the flash hider aswell on mine. But I want the same one that they have on it in the states. I have been looking for someone who supplies that exact one but can't find anything. Any idea where i can find one short of going stateside?
 
I have looked into this also. What I have found out here is, buy the flash hider you like bring it to a gunsmith with your rifle, they will match the threading onto your barrel. I was told $50 for this service. I think that's pretty fair.
