questions

Do these run well enough that no internals are swapped out?
Or are the internals changes a given with these?

I mean alot of cosmetics and I'm not knocking them I absolutely love it but does the stock SR22 run better then a stock plain jane 10/22?
 
You should post some pics of how you made the magazine look like a .223 mag.

Many people who don't like the look of the Rugers, say it's because of the skinny magazine.

You seem to have solved that problem.

It's simply an empty JWelded .223 mag to the bottom of a 10 round rotary Ruger mag, purley for looks.

I normally use 25 round TI mags or the 50 round blackdog drum with the SR22 when I'm at the range.

No internal mod changes on this 10/22, it functions perfectly in stock form. Don't know how it would compare to other 10/22's since this is the only 10/22 I own.

OP .. where did you buy that top rail?
 
Direct from w ww.################l.com (free shipping to Canada), but be warned these rails ARE NOT Picatinny standard, meaning any accessory that has a rectangular index key will not lock into this rail properly, any accessory that uses a bolt (rounded) index key will fit just fine.

Any chance I can make one of these sr22 or even a camo 10-22 look like Remington R15 or R25?

EDIT Sorry OP for pulling a Taliban, but the last couple of SR22 threads I've seen ( yours and JT's are just AWESOME builds) just got me excited at the options.
