SR22 Picatinni Rails

Does anyone know where one can acquire the 3" Picatinni Rails for the Ruger SR22?
Ruger Shop will not ship them to Canada.

Will the base that comes with every 10/22 not work? I took delivery of an SR 22 from P &D a couple of weeks ago and love it.....put a Bushnell Trophy red dot sight on the rail.....shoots great, looks great, and of course it is non restricted....but....I strongly suggest you always carry the registration with you as most police will assume it is restricted due to it's looks.....

This model requires specific rails, due to exact spacing of pre drilled holes on hand guard.

exact hight ,makes for a monolithic look the whole length of the rifle

I think you are thinking of the rail ontop of the receiver(that all sr22s have)? I am talking about the Full leangth picatiny rail that mounts on the handguard ,to create a monolithic rail from one end to the other end of the rifle

ya man im talking same thing. The 5 spaces in the rail are same distance as older nordic receiver whereas the new sr22 has 2 wider gaps on the sr22 receiver part. How much was that part?

You do realize that you can change the handguard for any AR-15 free-float handguard, right?

yep do realize that you can change to any AR free-float hand guard , but the Hights of the rail on the handgaurds wont match the hight of the rail on the receiver , so the front rail on the handguard will be sitting lower than the rail on the receiver and you would loose the monolithic look as well .
Its $65 for the rail ,how much for a decent free float handgaurd? starting at $150 +++
