Im guessing this has been covered before but my google skills couldn't find an answer for me.

Is there any way to modify an SR22 so that after the last shot is fired from the mag the bolt locks "open"? It gets annoying shooting until I hear that "click" of a dry fire (which from what I understand is not good for rimfires).

Thanks!

Unfortunately this doesn't look like it is compatible with aftermarket mags like the Promag.

It's NOT compatible with ANY mags unless there modified.

"MOST IMPORTANTLY, FOR THE AUTO-BOLT STOP MECHANISM TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY ONLY CST MODIFIED MAGAZINES CAN BE USED"

That's correct though the modifications needed to make them compatible, at least for Ruger and Butler Creek magazines are not difficult, I didn't look into doing it for any other magazines. I would think that if you want any sort of bolt hold open modification the magazines would need to be modified.
