Ok Boys
Need your help, I just got a Dlask 12.5 barrel for my SR22 (It looks great).
Ok back to the problem, I put a Volqartsen extractor in while I had it apart a now it won't extract the bullet. So I put the factory one back in and it seemed to work. Put everything back together and now no extraction.
Anybody seen this problem with the SR and dlask barell combo or with 10/22's ?
Any help would be great, I want to keep the 12.5 on it.
Thanks

I'll try that the next time I take it apart, Been at it for an hour or so and must give it a break. The bolt seems to go flat against the Dlask barell but the extractor does'nt seem to go deep enough to catch good.(Might be my imagination though).

Hi BCBoy
Thanks for the info, When I swapped barells I heated the barell alittle and gave it a tap at the two horns on the reciever and it came out no problem then I put in tyhe Dlask barell and install a v-block with a set screw and tightened it down as much as I dared (I've snapped rear shock bolts on a Camero without trying) seemed to be lined up. Is there a better way to do it?
Thanks for everybodys time.

Lock your bolt back and install your barrel. When it is fully seated, slowly release the bolt while looking into the chamber/receiver and see if the extractor seats or make contact. I usually twist the barrel left and right if it's loose enough. Feeling for the contact on the extractor when the bolt is closed and then roughly choose the middle. Typically the v block makes the barrel sit in the right position but you never know. tighten it down and check again. Shining a flashlight in the chamber while opening and closing the bolt usually helps.

I still think it is the spring myself though. There are plenty of posts about the aftermarket springs being to soft. And all recommend using the factory one.
