Already classified; the magazines are considered one, even though they need to be rotated. Cool gun though; we had a chance to handle one at SHOT

Not at all surprised to hear this. To be fair, it is a tough call. And considering the round is automatically chambered when the mag tube is indexed it almost make it a continuous magazine. However, the fact remains you must manually index the mag tube and "change". However, I generally do think that magazines are really just 4 coupled magazines and I disagree with the RCMPs decision.
