Ssd fg 42

First off, are you talking an original selective fire version?

Are you lisenced to own one of this class of firearm?

If you're talking about one of the semi auto only clones that were recently built, price could be quite substantial. $3000-$5000.

If it's the real thing and unregistered, you shouldn't be on this board asking questions about it.

Seeing as how these were ten k new (good lord!) how much would you pay for a good used one with only a couple boxes of ammo through it?

Given the very limited importation, I suspect you would have to pay whatever the seller decided to charge. See what it would cost to have a new one imported, and go from there.

if you read the thread title it says ssd fg42 so obviously its not the original nazi select fire version im asking about. Im thinking they are worth substantially more than three to five k since there are only a.small number of them in canada and.they went for ten k originally.

Yes people reading a post should read it properly before erring on the side of outrage.
I do not think a person after investing so much cash into one of these rifles would sell it and if they did they might do so for no more than five hundred lower than the price at least that is what I would do if I wanted to unload it for the cash quickly.

Thanks guys, but I wasn't outraged in the least. The OP has a low post and 0 trade rating.
There have been similar things posted before and I just wanted to warn against foolish posts that can lead to unwanted trouble. There was no offense given or intended.

I should have related to the "ssd" prefix. If it had been the "BD" prefix, I would have twigged.

The European versions sell around 6000 Euros new. The US built rifles sell for US$11,000. In Canada, go up from there.

Actually once again if you would look I dont have a zero trader rating. Its 26. Im being a smart ass now lol. I found one for lets just say a once in a lifetime price.

SSD and BD clearly imply new repro from Germany.

Just like Hemi and Mopar imply Dodge.

Possibly an Estate Sale? Divorce? Job Loss? Death?
Sometimes things sell for Pennies on the Dollar.
