St. Charles Rifle Range, Winnipeg

Wondering if anyone here shoots at St. Charles, just outside of Winnipeg?

I'm wondering what all you have to belong to, to shoot at the range?

Is all shooting at 300 plus yards? What is it like there on a Wednesday night? Hard to get range time? Serious competitors??

The contact for St.Charles is on the MPRA website (John) http:\\www.manitobarifle.ca. You picked a good year to join, membership fee's are down, and range maintenance is done.

The shooting goes out to 1000M, depending on what the guys want to shoot. 300, 700, and 1000M are the most popular. It's a great way to spend a day, with some of the best long range shooters in Manitoba.

I joined the MPRA last year as a newb.

Nice bunch of guys, lots of advise for a newb.

Even last year the fees weren't that bad.

They shoot on Wednesday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Every time I made it out I had a chance to shoot at whatever range I wanted. All different kinds of rifles from custom rigs to hunting rifles.
