I don't see a viper that is 3-9, is this the same as the 4-12 pa?

Viper has Extra low dispersion glass so colors don't separate, get sharper edges, better low light performance.

Turrets are 'pick up and turn' - spring loaded on the Viper - on the Diamondback you have to pull them right out to adjust.

Viper has Precision Force Spring system for better repeatability.

The viper 3-9x40 was discontinued about a year ago. Better construction and better glass than diamondback. Very great scope. Hard to find. Comes with the ridge on the magnifier dial so its easy to grip with gloves.
