Stag 10 lightweight Creedmoore barrels

I got a faxon match series heavy fluted 20 inch 6.5cm for 420 usd from a certain armoury or you can get it for 600 at ctsc when in stock. 2.5 lbs have it in my bcl build and best group I've had is about 0.3moa. Seems to like hornady precision hunter factory rounds. Working on some handloads too to try to mimic the factory rounds getting a fairly consistent 0.6moa

If i was building a lightweight 6.5 I would get the 2A 20" barrel, it's 4150 QPQ, rifle length gas, 1:8 twist, 5R Rifling. Weighs only 2 lbs 3 oz and 2A has a good rep for quality, not sure who manufacturers this barrel for them but I'm sure its good.

$300 usd, plus usually $25 shipping and $25-50 import fee.

I am trying to find a 18.5inch carbon fiber barrel in 6.5CM.

Go with a 20 inch. You'll need all the velocity you can get and an inch and a half will hardly be noticeable when handling it. You're not building a CQB rifle so if you're building it for accuracy and long range give it a chance to perform.
My experience so far owning a 6.5CM Modern Hunter with a Proof Research barrel and a 6.5CM Rem 700 has shown me that I can not run the loads as hot in the semi as I do in the bolt action and I've decided to also stick to 130gr projectiles in the semi rather than the 140gr that I run in the bolt action. In my mind I'm being a little nicer to the semi keeping the projectiles a little lighter. I just installed an adjustable gas block though so I may try the 140's now that I can tune the gas system to smooth it out.

If you won't be shooting past 800 yards I would also suggest sticking to 308. The 6.5 doesn't do anything better than a 308 inside 800 yards other than needing a few less clicks of elevation to get there. It isn't till 800+ you really see the advantages of the 6.5CM.

18.5 CFW barrels are gonna be a long wait period because there a special order.
I don’t think they’ll do a run of barrels , unless they have 10 plus to do.

But they will have 20 inch , in stock.

I just got my 20 CFW barrel (308)
A nd it took 5 months, I’m still waiting on the .223 barrels

I think it only measures to 19.5
