So after not immediately pulling the trigger on a Stag 10 when they first were announced as I "needed" a Delta Stryker at the time and could not afford both, I found myself increasingly jealous as more and more pictures of these beautiful rifles keep popping up here on CGN. The more I read reviews and the more pictures I saw, I realized that now I "needed" a Stag 10. Well, unfortunately that wasn't happening any time soon as the bank account was still smoldering from the purchase of the Delta Stryker... or so I thought.

Fast forward to last night. Get home from work, have a beer with the Mrs. and relax. Open another beer and I am told to help out and go finish folding the laundry that's waiting on the bed. After some minor #####ing and a quick smoke, I head to the bedroom to fold laundry. Well it wasn't laundry waiting for me :d

That's right, she remembered me drooling over them and ordered me a .308 Stag 10 back in July and it arrived yesterday! What a great Monday night surprise! F**k yeah!!!

Now to decide on an optic, find a decent bipod mount, and stock up on mags...

You can tell your better half that most of us here on CGN are jealous. And she should be a prime candidate for a cloning program!

Lots of good options for optics from cheap to selling your internal organs. I like the 1-6 Primary Arms I recently picked up with the ACSS reticle. I however put a Vortex HD LH 3-14x42 on mine to keep the weight down for hunting.

I have a Atlas bipod I like and a Neopod for hunting. Th new Magpul on looks to be a excellent value and I liked the one I handled.
 
As my lovely wife was screaming at me to take out the garbage, an how much better her life would have been if she would have married her high school sweetheart and we never crossed paths. I read your story and it made me believe in true love again. Thanks for bringing a little positivitey into my day. Tell your wife shes a stand up gal and consider yourself lucky, we'l better take out the garage before she makes me sleep in the garage again.
 
LOL She not a unicorn..... there's a few good ones out there.
I married a hard headed serbian gal ...... expenditures on firearms and ammo.... and hunting stuff...... never an issue in my house as long as the budget supports it.
In fact our 11 year anniversary gifts to each other ...... his n hers Stag-10 builds.
