Is anyone actually using these in their Stag10? I got my upper/lower as a stripped set, and I do not see it listed on their website or in any of their parts kits. So for those that bought a complete upper/lower, or a Stag10 lower parts kit, did it come with it?

Weird they have a picture of it and a description on their website, but no part number or any other mention of it

I have other upper/lowers that use a tension screw but they came included in the upper/lower or its parts kit when I bought them, I assume its a standard thread so they would fit, but where can you buy one by itself?

I believe my Stag has one installed. Contact ArmsEast.

Otherwise, you can find them in some hardware stores or AliExpress. Couldn't tell ya the thread pitch? I might want to drill/tap my other cheaper lowers to install one of these.

I use them in mine. I had Arms East send me some for the FDE Stags that didn’t come with them.

You can’t order them from the States. I’ve tried several companies.

Problem is I work nights and by the time I wake up they are closed, and they have not answered my first Email asking if I can buy the bolt catch pin by itself.

I'll do what I have to to get parts, but something like this Id really wish was just a point and click order online type of deal

Since they didnt answer my Email yet about the pin and I am impatient I ordered one from Brownells and paid $10US for a tiny threaded pin LOL

I'll wait a little and see if they answer

FYI a grip screw threads right in, so I assume its 1/4" x 28 thread

I'll try my industrial fastener suppliers, problem is usually with things like this I have to buy a box of 50+ to get them LOL

i had the same problem with them not responding to my email. id try sending another email politely stating they didn't respond to the first one and they might just send the part free of charge, thats what ended up happening in my case
edit: sorry didnt read you already ordered another on, but still might not be a bad idea.

Ya my Gmail account is asking me today if I want to follow up because its 3 days now no response. I ordered a pin from Brownells because they had them and I was ordering other parts to complete this, but the Brownells pin isn't stainless steel like the one I got from the Stag upper parts kit. So for a few more dollars Id still like to get another one from Arms East if they ever respond.

And same goes for the tension screw if I can get one Id like to use it, will assemble without it for now, but I would like to get one if possible

I actually test fit the upper/lower with the takedown pins, and you guys are right its a damn good fit without the tension screw so not really a must have, but more of a would like to have if possible

Thanks for the info guys

Can't wait now! if something hasn't slipped my mind I have 3 packages on the way that will allow me to assemble the complete rifle minus optics. Now I just have to decide on and order a scope and mount for it and hopefully Im out shooting .308 in a week or 2

Stag-10 Complete Rifles and Assembled Upper/Lower combos we import have this part. We understand that stripped uppers/lower that we didn't sell, don't.

We do have replacement and warranty parts for everything we import and sell directly or through our dealers.

Unfortunately, at the moment we have more people coming to us for missing parts of receivers and rifles that we didn't import than we are able to help and still have parts available for our dealers and customers. If we had more spare small parts we would sell them, but right now all parts available are going into our guns and receiver combos.

For what it is worth, stripped upper + lower ST10 receivers and upper + lower parts kits cost more than our assembled upper and lower combos. This is why we only sell assembled upper/lowers. Cheaper, faster, and requires no labour or tracking down AR10 pins and screws, and there is no potential for damaging parts during assembly.

We provide 1 year warranty on parts and lifetime warranty on complete rifles.

Finally, if it helps, we haven't seen a STAG-10 upper/lower that actually needs the teflon screw. The parts fit together very well without it.

I would have bought a complete one if I had the option, at the time there was only one place that had stock, and it was CTCS as a stripped set with a blemished Dimondback rail. Every time I was ready to pull the trigger on a compete set they were sold out, then the ban scare made it even worse. Cost of the upper/lower isn't really an issue, as I have spent $close to $4000 on top of what I paid for the upper/lower on parts, trigger, barrel, rail, etc etc. And I don't even plan to use the Diamond back rail that I paid for with the upper/lower. I also prefer to assemble my own rifles personally, my first rifle I bought complete since that I prefer to assemble my own from parts, just never did an AR10 yet so there small things I am finding out now during the process

I guess I'll have to Email CTCS and ask who imported their Stag10 stuff, and if they can get it....I just assumed all Stag10 were brought in by you guys as the Canadian Importer, and that you were the best place to ask for parts for it
