We've been working with Stag Arms and the US Govt a LONG time for these, and now they're here, and shipping daily. Especially made for Canadian Shooters, the Stag Arms Govt Model/Special Edition Carbines and Rifles.

These rifles all feature 1/7 twist barrels, 4150 CMV Steel, MP Inspected. Lowers are marked Cal: MULTI, barrels marked: 223 Wylde, 1/7 MP.
Includes YHM Phantom muzzle brakes, which perform well without adding too much volume. Also, your choice of full or semi auto bolt carriers.

The 20" Model 4 Special Edition Govt Model is a straight up CMT M16, but semi auto.

These are the same rifles that many countries are purchasing from Uncle Sam with their assistance budgets, specially prepped to be exported for commercial resale. All latest M16A4 Spec in materials, finish, and specification. Chrome Lined, Govt Profile barrels.

If you've been wanting to build an M16/C7 clone, your ship has come in.

Model 4L Govt Model.

Also in this lineup, the new Model 8 Piston, Govt Model. 1/7, Extended M4 Ramps, 4150 CMV. These don't exist stateside at all! Available in Right and Left Hand Models (8R, 8L).

Best thing maybe, even with the higher prices from Stag Arms for 2010 + higher prices for this special configuation, due to the strong CDN dollar, we have managed to LOWER prices from 2009, as low as $1399 for the 4R if the 'No detachable carry handle' option is selected. More expensive guns that cost less. How often does that happen?

Check them out at your local Stag Arms dealer, or at www.armseast.com.

Cheers,
DT

WOW! all that and a bag of chips!

I`ve never used a barrel chambered in .223 Wylde , I guess its made to work well with .223 Rem and 5.56 Nato ?

How bout just uppers for us with lots of lowers allready?

The 223 Wylde will shoot 556NATO and 223 Rem, safely and accurately.

Uppers, yes, 16" 1/7 MP 4150 CMV uppers in stock, they will be advertised shortly. 20", we might still have some, will check and get back.

Oh, I may just have to break out the visa for one of the 20" government models. Great pricing Walt.

Thank-you Sir. Our mission, the best quality rifles for the best prices, for those who still care about these things. :)

Wow! Nice job!
I would also be interested in a 20" upper, LH.
Does the 4L also have the M4 feed-ramp?
Is the brake welded or screw-off?

A buddy has one of the Stag Model 8R's... I tell you what, that piston system is NICE... Not once in probably a few hundred rounds did I hear a sonic crack... Easy to clean, very fast to cycle, ran everything we put through it (even some ~30yr old reloads I was given a couple years ago that would not cycle in any other .223/5.56 I have tried).

Also with the Model 8's they have the Midwest Industries BUIS'... Nice rifle for the $$$$

Of course we wait until I've got half of the parts put together to build one of these myself....

Thanks anyways....

Does the lower have a full open back end like real gov't (pre ban)models? I don't see that special hole at the top back end. Sort of like this. I like the 20" full rifles over all else.

This is a borrowed pic from the internet and not mine for the record.

The select fire rifles do. Semi's don't have room for the autosear in the lower, nor the hole drilled for auto-sear installation.

However, if you are ordering for an agency licensed for full auto in Canada, we can supply them, get export licenses for these VERY quickly, and would be happy to fill your order! :)

Price is about $45 more than the semi's on orders of less than 10 units.

^The old catalog, doesn't include the Model 8, etc.

I'd be interested in one, with an A2 flash hider. Is the YHM Phantom muzzle brake easily removable?
Missed that.

I will have the A2 FH added to the store as an option. Price is $24.
Can't post on how to remove them, but would be happy to discuss it on the phone. We charge $10 for the work, which might be on the high side for labour.

Best regards,
DT

C7A2 project?
Certainly could be.
We have everything but the stocks themselves. Lots of milspec receiver extensions, H and H2 buffers, action springs, receiver ext lock nuts, receiver end plates.
Add a M4 stock and some OD Armacoat for the plastic, and I suppose away you go.
