Stag10 + 50mm obj scope

All hypothetical of course....

But if one were to want to mount a 50mm obj (Bushnell Nitro 6-24x50 30mm tube) to a Stag10 what height rings would they use?
Google is telling me that Vortex Pro series High should leave a bit of clearance.

Just curious if anybody has any advice or experience to share.

I had a 56mm objective on mine and needed extra high rings

medium worked for me before I lost it in a lake, tight putting the covers on the scope however.

High's were looking like less than 1mm from the caps, so I went Vortex Pro extra high... the 4-6mm clearance is prob ideal considering recoil flex me thinks.

burris PEPR mount (I think most cantilever mounts should be good)

Anything that's 1.5" high should work. Should also give you a proper cheek weld as that's standard height to centre of optics on an AR.

IF I were to successfully mount a 50mm obj scope on a Stag10 this is what it would look like:







About 5/16" clearance.

.... but I would never own one of those assault style babykillers; and that is definitely not my cat either.
