Stainless Mark V fibermark

Does anybody know if these were ever sold in Canada? If so how long ago? Is there any hope of finding one new still in a gunshop somewhere?

They were, but, as you may already know, they weren't actually made out of stainless steel; they just had a brushed nickel coating. There was one for sale on the EE a short time ago.

Yes, they where actually nickel plated. I have a true stainless Mk V and they are even rarer. Check the EE as the Alaskan model might still be there.

I bought one brand new in 2003. It was made of "real" stainless steel in .300 Win Mag.

Weatherby did stop making s/s Mark V a while ago.
