Stainless Media - Pin sizes?

With regards to tumbling with stainless. Does it matter what size pin is being used. The reason I ask is I have access (in Canada) to stainless steel dowel pins in sizes in varying diameters from 1/16 to 1/2" and lenghts from 1/8 to 2"

What sizes are you Stainless guys using?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a 1/2" x 2" pin is too big

Seriously though, there was a thread on here a little while ago talking about the big and small media. I don't remember the sizes, but do a search and you should find it.

get the 1/16" X 1/2" if at all possible.

My pins are 1/4" long by .040 thou in diameter. This size of pins will get inside the brass as well as clean the primer pockets.

I am not sure if your sizes would end up jammed inside certain sized brass cases.
