I bought some on Amazon last spring.... search "stainless steel tumbling media pins" and you will get a whole bunch of media (various weights, with interesting shapes and sizes).

I'm pretty sure you can get it from a variety of jewelry supply companies.

My father was a watchmaker and did a lot of business with https:// perrinwatchparts.com/ ... I bet they have it.

Thanks. Not OP but I hadnt considered this for some reason. Lots of variety on amazon. Different shapes and weight denominations. Not too pricey.

If there's interest, I could likely source a bulk purchase of pins from a Canadian or US supplier and divvy it up for us. I've been meaning to get some, but the $70 or whatever it is for the Frankford Arsenal ones at Cabela's seem rather expensive to me.

But I supposed it's a one time purchase as they never wear out I'd assume.

I’d really like to get 5 lbs of the SS chips that the OP talked about as it seems they do an amazing job of cleaning some of the smaller areas the pins don’t normally get. I have the regular SS pins but those chips look very interesting and I’d be in for a group purchase if someone has a way of doing it
