Stainless steel finish (Duracoat etc)

Has anyone used the stainless duracoat finish? How does it turn out? Looking for more of a matte or brushed stainless look for a project. Open to other coating options, I’ve used duracoat in the past and have been happy with the results of both their black and dura blue coatings, just hard to judge the colour based on a picture so looking for some real world feed back.
 
Don’t want to sound like a #### but that is a completely useless post. As far as the look that I want can you point me to a ceracoat product that fits the bill? I’ve used both and yes creacoat is a better product bit duracoat is easier for me to get. I’m looking for feed back on someone who has applied a stainless type finish of anybody’s product to there firearm.
 
Cerakote has a website with tons of pictures for their colors, as fas as what it looks like need to pic a color and go from there, also it’s very easy to get, just order it and fedex will drop it off a couple days later, I’ve dprayed lots of their stainless finish colors and they turn out just as the should if prepped right.
 
Tungsten and titanium cerakote look damn good, i found the duracoat stainless too bright, and in my opinion is an inferior metal coating although i do like it on stocks.
 
Computer settings really effect how colours are viewed without having a paint chip to look at or someone’s personal feedback it’s kind of a guessing game I find. Good to know on the duracoat being to bright. Out of the two ceracoat colours mentioned which one came out closer to a brushed or bead blasted matte stainless look?
 
Tungsten and titanium I find a bit darker compared to what you want, maybe savage stainless or brushed aluminum would be closer, you can also order swatches from cerakote of the colors you’d like to see in person, I think you can get 5 free.

I have seen a lot of different colors of Ceracoat and they all have a matte blasted finish to them. Where are you located? There might be a local applicator you can visit for sampling. CDN Gunworx in Oshawa has a lot of options.
