Stainless steel for Brass cleaning

Is anyone using stainless steel media in there vibrator brass cleaner.
I have a Lyman 1200 cleaner and I would like to try it with the stainless pins.

I thought stainless pins were made for wet tumbling in specific tumblers

Doesn't work very well, you need a rotating drum, not a vibratory bowl. Someone started a thread after they tried it in the vibratory style with poor results.
