Standard 6.5x55 Swedish Military Load?

Does anybody know what the standard Swede military load was? I have found that the older spec was M94 with a 160gr. round nose bullet and the newer spec was M41 with a spitzer bullet of unknown weight. Any more info on these two loads and how to tell which one the sights on my M38 are regulated for?

From 1941 onward they used a 140gr Spitzer mv 2625. This would be the round for the M38.

The m/41 bullet was 139gr and your 38 will be regulated for that bullet. muzzle velocity in the 38 was 2510fps, oal of the cartridge was 78mm.

Yup. 156gr RN bullet moving at 2329fps out of the m/96, and 2100fps from the m/94 carbine. OAL of this cartridge was 80mm.

Swedish mausers will have a T stamped on the sight for the 140gr Torpedo round.Harold
