Aside from the fancy paint job, what else is different from a standard colt 1911? Pls advise.

I wouldn't say yuck, but it is bizarre seeing a pistol with this finish. Certainly an eye catcher! Perhaps someone could be the momentary star at their gun club with this one!

Good question , I know some knives is using chemical to put rainbow colour on blades.

Ya one that fell into the BBQ....case hardening looks good on lever actions and on revolver frames. All over is too much. Kinda like when my senile Grandmother would get carried away with her eyebrow pencil...
