Star 22 semi "sport."

I'm looking at a Star, 22 semi auto pistol, sport model with 6 inch barrel. Sorry, I can't get pictures because I do not have it. But I looked at it and it appears like a new gun, even though I see by Google that they were made only between 1932 and 1942.
The downer, it has no magazine.
I'm wondering what price would make it a reasonable buy, to purchase?
Probably it would be easier to get hens teeth than it would a magazine.

I bought the similar and slightly shorter F Model for my daughters and nephew to shoot.
Think I paid 275, the difference was, that came with the one magazine.
These all steel handguns operate much better with energetic ammo. (1250 fps or thereabouts as minimum IMO)
Yes, finding a magazine is going to be a campaign indeed.
