Like many older pistols (eg:TT33, P38) it's probably best suited for collecting rather than regular use. Ergonomics and controls have improved greatly in the last few decades, parts can be a little tricky to come by, service and support is sparse too.
If you're looking for a shooter I'd suggest you save a few more bucks and get a SD9, M and P, or the like.
Really, buying the pistol is the least of your cost compared to ammo over the course of time.
