Does anyone know much about this gun? I saw it used in the movie Heat and i like the looks of it. from the little i've read about it, it was made in the early 90's and comes in 10mm and .45 auto...but other than that i couldn't find much more..

anyone know about their availability and or price of one?

it's a very large and pretty heavy pistol. It has a mag safety, and the slide mounted safety lever is unique in operation. Mine is a 10mm, and shoots soft, even with full house loads. They came in two finishes, blued and Starvel... a kind of tenifer finish. originally had a 14 round 10mm capacity or 12 rounds of .45ACP. if you want to take the grips off, it's not obvious. You need to depress the rear of the frame to have the grips pop off... no prying necessary. Double action is long and heavy, but smooth. Single action pull isn't too bad, and about 5 pounds. Might be the beefiest and heaviest 10mm auto pistol made.

No idea on availability or price... I would assume they are pretty rare. Mine isn't for sale.
