Hi Guys has anyone ordered brass from Starline? It says on their site a U.S.
export permit is required for orders over $100.00 and the smallest order I can
make for 41colt brass is about $135.00. Anyone have to get this export permit
and can tell me where to get such a thing? Or even better anyone know where I can get the brass in Canada?:)

You don't actually need this on the import side, Canada doesn't regulate brass cylinders, but the US State Department needs proof it is legal to import here before they'll issue the exporter an export certificate. It will probably take weeks before the import cert is approved and sent to the exporter, then a few more weeks for the state dept. to issue the export cert.

I've never actually imported anything that needed the certificate, I looked at the form and decided to take another course of action.
