Starter reloading cost analysis, for .308 Winchester hunting loads

I have been reloading since 1960.
I load 410's, 20 gauge and 12 gauge.
I also reload for a bunch of rifle shells.
Don't buy all new stuff.
Look for bargains, there is always somebody wanting to stop loading and selling their stuff very cheap.
Don't buy the cheap lee press, buy the more expensive lee press.
I've had all kinds. Lyman, RCBS press and the big lee press works fine.
LOOK AT THE COST AS AMMORTIZED OVER 20 YEARS.
WHEN IT IS 30 TO 40 BELOW I STAY AT HOME AND RELOAD.
IT IS ONE OF THE BEST HOBBIES.
TAKE IT FROM AN OLD TIMER

If you just can't bear to see an empty brass casing on the ground, then you too are cut out for reloading. Gone are the days whereby the reloading costs are the primary reason for doing it.

Yep so far to get Loading I've spent 180$ on Lee press and pilot for Cutter, then 315$ on dies, 100 x lapua 308 brass, 200 x 175 gr sierra mk bthp bullets. 50$ 1 pound of varget, 25$ Rcbs powder thrower, 60$ for 1000 fed gold match primers. Then I still need a tumbler, ss media, and a new bench which is like another $700 before i can even start reloading! Well just a bench so 400$ easy
