From one newbie to another. Before you buy the parts make sure you have the tools!!! Castle nut pliers, m14 wrenchs, right size allen keys! etc etc. I use www.brownells.com for the parts and the castle nut pliers. the tools I bought from www.Sadlak.com. high quality tools and not pricy either. all Made in USA too. I bought my M14 stock for M14.ca I was certainly impressed with the quality craftmenship on the stock as well Franks's commitment to making a seriously BAD ARSE rifle stock.
He has a couple options to change components on the stock to make the rifle how you want it. The only issue is if you go with his stock you need to go with his options too. I bought hte J point Casm then the J point 4 moa red dot. very small but very cool! I was hoping to have my rifle upgraded within the week, thinking no problem right? Wrong. Takes longer to understand critical processes.
