....had adjusted my triggers before I received the gun originally to reset for the .410 So did he screw up or was it from the factory? I lean towards the former.

You're not the first I've heard of to run into that dilema ... I'd bet on the former too !

I have a DT-10 I bought in 2000 .... no problem re-setting for the 410 straight out of the box !
Absolutely no malfunctions to date .... and likely 75 to 100 k, down the pipes.

Some 50 odd shotguns having passed through my hands, I would add Claybuster's advice is sound ...
and the same echoed by many. Just take a look around any busy Trap/Skeet/Sporting/5-Stand Club
and you will see a majority of B-guns. They are built to last. "Snob appeal" has nothing to do
with it.
