Hi all,
I was over in Alaska the other day looking for swift A frames at my favourite distributor and found a box of the Berger bullets in the title, I picked them up to try out. I was wondering if anyone has used them, I have retumbo, 7828, imr 4831, US 869 on hand and a few more slow powders as well to start with. Anyone using these bullets in the RUM and have a starting point with any of these powders? If not any powder suggestions? This is my bison and moose gun so it sees a range of temps and elevations so I'm not looking for ragged edge, just a place to start.
Thanks in advance!
Mark

I started at 80 gr and worked up on mine with 7828
Settled at 83 in my rifle.
Loaded to max length of my magazine will allow.
Might get a Wyatts box for it so I can seat them out a bit further.
